Artist's Comments

Ecce Homo, cherry, steel, oak

The second piece along with Hurt made from halves of a wild cherry log. A somewhat personal piece it draws on conventions from traditional Catholic and African ritual sculpture. It was also up in a church in NYC, though with a rather silly looking loincloth.
