Description
So I got it into my head to turn the picture A Day a the Fair into a trilogy. (I've never heard of one but why shouldnt there be a trilogy of paintings.) This is the second picture, showing the duo on their day off, clearly having a better time than in the original picture. In terms of composition, I don't think this one is quite as strong, but it's fun to come back to the characters.

Interesting that your paintings are flattened and washy, sharing only the curvilinear language with your sculptures... (not that the flat washes are not thrilling in their own right, merely the contrast is interesting...)
